Backups and Disaster Recovery

Being able to get back to work when something goes wrong is critical to your organisation. Our backup and disaster recovery services are designed to be there when you need them most.

Every organisation should prioritise business continuity. Whether you need to recover lost files and folders or bounce back quickly from a server failure, it’s important to invest in the right solutions in advance – and the right monitoring to make sure they’re working when you need them.

We offer two main business continuity services: managed backups, and disaster recovery (DR).

Backups and DR: the benefits to you

Managed backups

Backups are vital so that you can recover or restore missing files and folders when you need them. But they’re also tedious to arrange and to check. So we offer:

Peace of mind about backups

It’s critical to know your backups are working properly. We can take care of this for you – offering a manual daily backup check, and a monthly “test restore” to make sure that systems and data can be recovered when really needed.

The audit trail you need

We track backup checks via our service desk – so we can fully audit how backups are working, with regular reports on test restores. When there are issues, tickets are automatically logged and assigned to an engineer to investigate and fix. Our proactive measures make us one of the best disaster recovery companies in the UK.

Disaster recovery

When you have a major issue such as a server failure or other disaster, every minute counts. We offer:

The response you need

Our standard SLA recovery times for disaster recovery are two hours – to help you minimise reputational and financial damage. With our extensive DR plans and speedy response mechanism, you can be assured that you are in control of your data. As one of the premier disaster recovery companies in the UK, we take pride in helping our clients ease their stress and work tirelessly to minimise disasters.

Flexible, cloud-based options

Our cloud-based Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) is flexible. You can choose Microsoft Azure – or for a more tailored solution with the option of colocation, consider redCLOUD, our own cloud platform.

We advise on solutions

At Redpalm, we don’t want to sell you cumbersome security solutions which will be difficult for your organisation to manage on a practical level. Instead, we help you to find the right solutions for your needs.

Our cyber security assessments are a perfect match for your business. Our range of IT audits and health checks, for example, provide recommendations on how and where you can improve.

We aim to offer value

At Redpalm, our managed services can help you to keep on top of threats – providing services you may not have the resource to manage in-house yourselves.

In monthly reviews, we can also recommend services which can help to enhance your defences while providing value to your organisation. It is no wonder we are a preferred provider of cyber security services.
